Man, I looked hard for the engine to the plane that Jason's holding...I'm not seeing it. LOL... Am I missing something, or is that plane without engine.? 
Jason's got to be awesome to compete without even an engine. Seriously though, I've admired these guys for a long time, they are good for our hobby.

if memory serves me jason had borrowed the plane from don moody, the motor from chip, and he came to my pit's and asked how far should the throws be for low rate. we set the throws in the pits and he went out and smoked the competition. (damm)
i remember his first race at t.r.a.c. in tampa. he signed up as a standard pilot, after the third heat he was expert "by times he flew 3 times faster than the allowed breakout" and went on to ace the event. beating all the experts as well as fast time. (damm)
