Hi Folks:
I need your help for choose my next plane. I ´m flying a Twist 60 but I wanna a good 3D and I´m thinking in a good "small" gasser.
The next planes are some of my favorites:
- Aeroworks Extra 260 for a 50 cc
- Aeroworks Yak 54 for a 50 cc
- Quique Somenzini Yak for a 50 cc
- Ultra RC Giles for a 50 cc
- Hangar-9 Extra 260 for a 50 cc
The links:
www.aero-works.net
www.somenzini.com
www.hangar-9.com
www.ultrarc.com
If you know about a better choice please post, I need to know which is the best!
The Giles. I like this plane for the weight and I think the Performance is good.
The Aeroworks Extra. I really like this plane, is pretty. But, What you can say about Performance?
And the QQ Yak. The name says all
And please, sorry the bad english, I try to do it better [&o]
Regards from Mexico!

Instead of jumping into a huge expensive, hard to transport, complicated gasser, I would get a really good 60 size plane and try some fine 3d flying with a medium-size plane. I love my Mojo 60. It will do anything you want. If you like that then move up to gassers. I have no urge to go that far into the money pit. My newest plane is a Mojo 65. There are several other 3d planes in the 60-90 size that will do what you want.

Don't forget about the SD models 30% YAK and the Air Wild 29% 260. In all honesty, every plane on your list will be EXCELLENT, but stick with the top 3. Welcome to the Dark Side.

Thanks to all, your opinions are really important to me. Probably I will buy the QQ Yak because I think it has the best Performance, but the problem is this: In Mexico all is more expensive, so if I buy it, I will pay aprox. 795 Dlls [:'(][:@]
Jack: You are right, but I have flown another planes (60-90 size) and I think it will be different to fly, so if I try to fly a bigger plane it will be funny
I have a Mojo 40
Saludos = Regards!

THe QQ yak is nice but expensive.
To those who say don't step up to gas because of money.. I say you are wrong... there is a night and day difference to a larger gas plane and a glow plane. There is a very good reason to why they say bigger is better.
I am lucky enough to own several 25-30% planes.. but even luckier to fly 33-35% planes often and even a 40% a couple times... I can tell you there is a huge difference again between a 50cc and a 33% plane which if you are doing anything other than just killing a day having fun is worth it.
I would trade a couple 28% ers to have a 33% because they fly that much better.
All of the planes you mentioned are great... I will give you another option since it's your first gas plane and there is a small learning curve.. you cant throw around a big plane like you can with a small plane. Too much el. at the wrong time and you are going into a stall and maybe the ground.
Wild Hare makes a nice Edge and Extra that are very good bang for the buck and fly well....

Bigger IS necessarily and ALWAYS better. I am just moving from glow to gas. I have a 29% 260 from Air Wild...and a 35% Extra 330L from Aeroworks.
Man..night and day doesn't even really cover it. The difference between the way my Showtime 4D .90 flies and the way my 50CC flies is incredible. Between the 50 and the 100, it's less of a difference, but the 100 is much better.
It's worth the money. The problem is that once you fly one, you MUST have one. Don't go borrowing 40's unless you have the cash, because you WILL buy one....eventually. They really are that much better.

Yes, I understand. I have experience with "stalls" and I think it isn´t a problem
With a little of throttle the landing is easy
It´s expensive, but I LIKE IT [8D]
