If it's not lightened to would consider sending it in to get it lightened... does it have EI?
This engine will work well in really any 84" - 90" plane that weights 16-18 pounds. for 3D
One of the nicest out there right now would be the Extreme Flight Yak. There is a long thread in the Giant Scalle Plane forum.

Yeah a really light plane like the EF's are the ticket. The problem with the G62 is that it is the boat anchor you are putting on the plane so the airframe needs to be really lightweight but slightly heavy in the tail to overcome the excess weight of the engine. Not to say that the G62 wont work just fine... It will work for 3D if you can get an 87-90" wing plane to balance with the G62 and get an AUW of about 17 pounds. If you get much heavier than that the plane will fly ok, but you are not going to get that weightless, impossible to stall feel that a 3D plane really needs to handle optimally.
