wgeffon,
I fly at Rocket City R/C about 20 mins north east of Orlando. The 4th is a problem for me (gotta work) How about the 5th or 6th? I think the 4th is a tuesday right? I'm off on Wednesdays and Thursdays and ususally spend one of those two days flying. If you can be available one of those two days let me know.
If not check out RCACF I know they have a website and from what I hear there is always someone at their field to fly with.
email me if you need more info or if the 5th or 6th works for you.

Wayne,
Their are 3 fields that I know about that are nice fields.
One is just east of the Mall in Sanford. If you take the second mall exit to Sanford, turn right drive past the mall entrance and the hobby shop (to the left) drive over the big overpass and take the immediate left. Then take the last right and another immediate left. You will be driving along the railroad service road. The field is at the end.
Another field is the Deland Field.
It is on SR-92 and Marsh road.
Drive back to the sports complex and make the left before going through the gates at the sport complex.
THe last one is about 10-15 minutes east of Sanford on the main strip. Can't give you better directions!

Wayne, You have to see the Graves RC Hobby shop while in Orlando, I have not been to the others in orlando but this one is impressive like 300 used airplane's hanging from the cealing and they have a very large inventory of anything.
They also have directions to the local fields their.
The local Orlando phone books have them in there with a little map to the place.
Their website is NOT empressive I think its gravesrc.com
Are you bringing down some planes?
Want to leave a Sledge 540 here in florida for a fee?
Might be worth not sleeping that day ( Night Worker ) to get hold of another Sledge :-) .
I'm 1.5 Hr from Orlando. In tampa area.

Don't worry Wayne. If he gives you any lip about your plane in the aisle, just stand him in the door and put a boot in his backside. Accelerated airborne training without a chute!
