Well, it happened!!!
Something that I though was given to only a few has come to me! I though I will never ever be able to do it. My resolution from last summer/fall was: if I could only manage to perform rolling harrier on simulator by the beginning of the next summer – I would call it success.
Well after unreal number of hours on a simulator and almost giving up a few times. I can do it now! I am doing left and right rolling harriers. It is not that pretty and I get out of it once in a while, but I don’t crash and continue to do them!!!
It is only on a simulator – I do not have ability to fly a real thing - damn work is between us. And I am still learning to steer, with some success…, but I am really happy with my little steps.
Sometimes when I go to bed I close my eyes and see that “thing” rolling. It is like when I was a kid and after spending whole day playing with waives on a beach, I went to bed and still feel them carrying me back and force.
Well to those of you who are still trying to manage that damn maneuver – don’t give up! Be patient. If someone like me can do it then anybody can!!!
Pavel.
PS. Sometimes, I wish this forum would have more discussions of flying 3D and we would have another one for building 3D planes. I know there is a great “sticky” on this one and I am grateful to those individuals who contributed to it.

THAT"S GREAT!!
I am working on rollers with foam. I do some rollers...way up there with my 50cc 260, but I'm too chicken to try it any lower.
If you want a PERFECT plane for practicing rollers, get a CR-1 from http://www.chargerrc.com
Here is the setup:
CR-1
Hacker 20-26M
10X4.7 prop
Futaba 3114 servos
Berg7 RX
Thunderbird 18 ESC and....
Thunder Power 1320 3 cell lipo
Trust me on this one and good luck man!!
I agree, there is not enough discussion here about FLYING 3D, but the only way to change that is to post your own threads, can't control what others do.
Good luck man!! I am jealous of your success on the sim.
