RE: search for 46 3d
easton24,
I like the APC 12.25 x 3.75 W for my OS 46.
oren10,
I have an OMP 47" Edge with an OS 46. It will hover it, but with very little pull out. I would go with a bigger engine if I had to do it again. I here the MOJO is good, but I do not know if a 46 will be good for it. The Hanger 9 Tribute might be worth looking into.

RE: search for 46 3d
I have an 8 year old OS 46FX on my MOJO with a tower muffler and a 12x4 Pro Zinger prop and it pulls out of a hover pretty quick. Unlimited verticle. The 11.5x4 would work well too. I did try the 12.25x3.75, which worked ok, but the throttle response with the wood props cannot be beat.

I just broke the wood prop over the weekend (tumble caused by tailtouching in a hover). I replaced it with a 12.25x3.75 which also works well, but I like the woody.

Well I went and tried a 12x4 apc, wood, and then a 12.25x 3.75. I got to say on my ultimate I think the 12.25 x 3.75 works the best. The vertical is fantastic. Thanks all for the recommendations.

Tried the 12x4 Zinger on my OS 46 - OMP 47" Edge. I like the way it sounds. It seems to spin up faster than the APC, but I do not think it pulls as hard as the APC 12.25x3.75. I may try a 12x5 next or a 12x6.

The best 3d plane for a 46 is a profile. I have a 46 FX on a MOJO. Vertical is unlimited. Less than half throttle to hover and pulls out quick. As for prop, 12.25 x 3.75 is the best. The MOJO will do it all and more. It is rock solid. Here is a short video of mine.

I have a Mojo with OS .46 FX, tower muffler and run an APC 12x4. It is my cheapest plane and my most fun to fly...performs great! In my opinion, the 12x4 pulls better than the 12.25x3.75 and spools up much quicker as well. APC 11x4 works great too. Props are cheap (at least these sizes). Buy a variety and try them all. Not thay you are, but it doesn't make sense to make a prop choice solely on the varied opinions of RCU posts.
