Default Hanger 9 Cap 232 .40 muffler & tips?

Hello all,

Well I settled on getting a Hanger 9 Cap 232 .40. And now I have opened the box.

I have very reliable and powerful OS.61FP that I want to mount in it.

Do I need a Pitts style muffler or can I use the stock muffler?

(The engine mounts at a 90 degree angle, so the muffler will come out the bottom of the fuse).

Also, anyone familiar with this plane that has any build/set-up/flying tips, please don't be shy!

Thanks
