I was wondering how much difference there was between the new and old version of the ys 1.10. I found a pretty good deal for the old version so I was wondering if it would be worth it to get the old version or would I be disipointed?
The 1.10 is going to be for a seagull yak 54
Thanks

From what I understand the new 110 is now more like a YS63S-that is, regulator external mounted on the pushrods and it's linerless cylinder construction. It's probably hair lighter.

I have no idea about the new version, but I would doubt you would not like the older version. It's a stump puller.

Yeah these Engines are absolute monsters. I had a YS-91 in a 60 Size Hobbico Extra 300. 10-15 feet and the would pull vertical and drag the rudder through the grass! It was quite a hoot to fly but seemed alot more tempermental than the OS 91 it replaced.
