Default help with U can do 3D 60

hi all, i am having a little bit of trouble with my u can do 3d. It has a Supertigre 75 two stroke flying a 13X6 prop. I can get it to hover but it will not pull out or anything. I am going to put a Supertigre 90 two stroke on it and im thinking a 14X4 wooden or apc, or a 15X4 wood or apc. The plane weights little over 7lbs dry. Do you think this is a good plane engine combo? how do you think the pull out will be?

For the ST 75 try an APC 13x4w.

For the ST 90 an APC 15x4w works great.

Here's two videos of my UCD 60 powered by a ST 90 with an APC 15x4w.

I think the G90 stock would not be enough power for that plane. But with a quiet tuned pipe it would be enough pull for that plane and a APC 15x4w or 15x6.
If you like to stay twostroke I would look at the OS120AX instead. Suitable fourstrokes are Saito 125 or YS 110.

The stock muffler was replaced with a mousse can muffler.

The ST 90 with a stock muffler works pretty good, but an OS 120 AX would definitely be a better choice.

The mousse can muffler (MCM) adds about 1000 rpm over the stock muffler on the 15x4w prop.

To build a MCM you'll need to buy a Macs header and get ahold of an aluminum can that measures 2" diameter and 10" long.

For instructions on how to build a MCM, go here:

Look under the CONSTRUCTION link for the Mousse Can Muffler building instructions.
