Where to buy servos

From what I can see, Chief looks like the best place to buy servos price wise. I'm looking at some HS5955TG for rud/elev and HS5625MG or HS5985MG for ail. Is there any other servo distribution I might check out before purchasing? These are going on a GP Yak 54 with a DL50.

Troybuilt looks like they have a good deal on those servos. Almost $10 cheaper per servo then Chief Aircraft.

Looks like pcsol beat me to it.
P-51B servo City prices are higher on those particular servos. $10-$15 higher per servo.

I'm new to digitals, how do the 5955TG and 5985MG hold up electronics wise. Using a case as a heatsink makes me a little curious. Any mounting issues I should be aware of. I've been using hitec and futaba for years and have had some failures now and then which I figure isnt too bad over the last 15 years or so. Just started using some JR in sport planes so dont have enough personal experiece to go on, just the rcu and general club opinions seem to be good. I like using single servos in a setup.

Our local (good) hobby shop was burglerized several months ago. That along with some other issues, they closed the doors. Right in the middle of sale negotiations. Well the sale has finally gone through and a new shop has just recently opened. They are in the process of restocking. I'm waiting to see what will happen with their prices. The old shop gave club members 5% discounts. My feelings and many others in the clubs is that they should keep the 5%. We just want them to stay open and stock what we want (within reason, it still has to have a decent turnover rate). The new owners have expressed an interest in joining all the local clubs and supporting them as best they can. Cant ask for more than that. I usually split my costs between LHS and mailorder. Some prices just cant be beat on high dollar stuff and the other shop acknowleged that. He didnt make that much off it anyway. All my linkage, fuel, sport servos and such come from the LHS.

Just fair warning. O'briens, in my experience, is somewhat hit or miss. I've ordered from them twice and both times, eventually, I got what I ordered. However, this was not without much hassle and delay. If you need it quick, I would call them and place the order on the phone and hold their hand through the whole process. Even then, you might have to stay on top of them to get the order shipped.
To be fair, I didn't get screwed and they did make good, but the time it took was simply ridiculous (we're talking WEEKS here). Short version, if you want or need your servos NOW, you might be better off shopping elsewhere. If you are patient and don't mind babysitting your order, O'Briens will probably get the job done.
Just my thoughts....

Servo City is probably has the most complete and well rounded inventory around, and they will price match. I just let them know what prices I have found and they will typically match it.
Another good place to get servos is www.airwildpilotshop.com . I have gotten some great deals on Hitec 5955's from them.
Chief has also worked with me on price before on engines and servo's.
