On my U Can Do 3D I have a O.s. 91 2 stroke. I tried hovering and it does great. IT pulls out really good. I would say a 0s 91 2 stroke is the best type of engine. I really like it. The engine is a whole lot smoother and it is really quiet. The other engines or lound on the plane.

What prop are you using. I am putting an older OS .91 FSR in a UCD and plan to use an APC 15x4W.

I have a .91 fx 2-stoke on mine, and I am using an APC 14 x 6. It pulls it real well, and has unlimited vertical. I tried a 15 x 4 W, and did not like it at all. The engine just didn't have enough torque, and was very sluggish and slow to spool up.
