Default receiver battery checker

Hi,
I would like to know what battery checker you use to read lipo; lion; ni-cad and ni-mh packs.
Do you know if there is a battery checker that can read all of this batteries types?
Thanks

the hobbico one.....it only knows what voltage to stop using a battery for nicad and nimh batteries but will read the voltage fine on a lipo. thats what i use and it works.....or take a voltmeter and turn it to the 20a function. voltmetres are good because you can check continuity between two places if you have to and you can macke up your own leads for it or buy some because they're just bannana plugs. if i was to buy another voltmetre that's what id get. we actually have a voltmetre and im going to start taking it to the field (cuz our actual hobby one has a dead battery and i know theres some new ones in our house somewhere....i just have to find them.....or buy one for the dollar they cost :P but to answer your question, any voltmetre will read voltage in any type of battey ( or nearly any type ) juust wont say ( at 4.8v recharge, or at 6.0v recharge ) but you dont need that anyway.

I think that is missing a few whistles..... it says it only reads batteries that are lithium and li-ion

this is the checker I'll be getting soon..... http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXKLF5&P=SM

Hi,
My plane uses 5 hitec digital servos and 1 normal. I'm thinking of buying Insta Pro Battery Checker. Do you think this is enough? 500mah load it's enough?

This is the site: http://www.atsrcplanes.com/instacheckpro.htm

Thanks
