Hi everyone,
In a few weeks time daylight savings starts in AUS so I'm on the lookout for a small electric 3D plane that I can throw in the boot of my car in the morning so on the way home from work I can call into the club for a fly.
It has to be reasonably tough as I want to get down low and practice my 'not so good' 3D flying
I had a read about the Ultrafly Outrageous and Furious but the depron foam wings sort of put me off a bit. If/when I dumb thumb it into the ground I want it to be reasonably forgiving to low altitude mishaps.
Can anyone recommend a plane/motor/battery/esc setup?
Thanks, FJ

This little profile is great. Comes in at 1 pound auw. I did a small build thread on rcgroups in the electric 3d section. [link=http://www.aero-works.net/store/detail.aspx?ID=294]Aeroworks[/link]

If you can fly indoors, a flat foamy is cheap, easy to fix, and even easier to replace. If you plan to fly outdoors, I wouldn't get anything smaller than the profile plane suggested in the post above...

My new fav. electric plane is called the Sobre it's made by e-flite - it's a 3D monster and flies great with a 480 or 730 pack

I have recantly got my P.A E.Shock and really like it. its small enough for the boot flys in a little wind without a problem and mine has now taken a few good knocks and nothing a bit of thin ca did not fix. And they are avilible here in aus. heres link http://precisionaerobatics.com/produ...px?prodID=1081. If you are anything like me i had to start electric from scratch so it was a bit pricey but i look at it now if i crash and kill the plane its only $130 odd and back in the air or not even as you can buy all the parts separte so breack a wing just a that. Just my 2 cents worth
