maxair velox engine question
Hey all,
I just got a maxair velox and am deciding on engines. Although I am sure a little heavier I am thinking I would like to put a gas engine in this bird but it needs to be enough engine to allow hovering and such. Has anyone used or could give me an idea on what gas engine would be the best match for this plane?

A friend put an Evolution 1.6 and pipe on one, it had tons of power. I've flown this plane with an YS110, OS 120AX and the 1.6 Evolution, hands down the YS110 takes it, however on my own I opted for the 120AX, mainly because I could run 10% and it would be perfectly happy, also the ease of use for the 2 stoke is awesome. Really IMO skip the gas on this plane and go with glow, especially if you plan on doing 3D.
