Yes. Put it in a heli.

For ground handling? Hovering? I not sure why?

I think you'll find most folks will tell you to learn to hover a plane without a Gyro.

From what I have read,you will never learn it,if a another device is doing the proper inputs.If your plane is difficult to Hover there a few ways to possibly improve its handling.
