What would be a good 3D plane for an OS .61 FX? I see the Diabolic (the stabilators are way cool!), the Graupner Showflyer, Diablotin Top, etc. These all claim to be for a .60, but would they really need more power? If the .61 would not be enough power for these, does anyone have any suggestions for this engine?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I think you can put it on the Flip 3D. It doesn't need it, but could use the extra power for escape. I have seen a Flip with a Irvine 72, and it didn't seem to bother the extra weight to much. Just keep all the rest of equipment as light as possible.

Texas 3D,
Thanks for the input.
Do you have a Graupner Showflyer? It looks really nice from what I can tell, but never seen one in person.
Thanks

There is a diff between 3D aerobatic and 3D Fun Fly, but the two move ever close all the time.
The Flip 3D is Fun Fly.
If you want a 3D Aerobatic you might be interested in the following for your 61, although when they will be available in the US I dont know as yet.;

Good luck.....

Thanks Archie,
Do you know how they would be available, as in ARF, ARC, or kit?
Also, do you know where any videos of the Capiche are posted?

Looks kind of cool, and definitely different. Here is a pic before recovering.The Flip with the 61 will be unlimited. Mine was unlimited with a 50SX and mini tuned rossi pipe. You can probably use the 61 with stock muffler and baffle removed.

Wow I like that. Purple makes any plane look better. I'm looking to get into 3D sometime soon but all my planes don't have enough power. Oh well. Soon... Soon...

My step-son has a Pizazz and I have a Goldberg 3D, both with a OS61fx and they rock! You might find a good strong 40 size plane and put your motor on it, just get ready to hang on.
