Hi,
My friend was thinking of getting this plane, but was not to sure, cause he wants it for serious F3A and also 3D. Would it be up for both?
Thanks!
Robert.

Hey Robert,
Quique Somenzini and I were talking the other day about how the Excellence behaves flying F3A. He said that when he was in France, he had a opportunity to fly an F3A version of the Excellence through some patterns, and he said that he didn't really like the airplane as much for pattern flying as he did for his Artistic Aerobatics. He likes the Smaragd better for that purpose.
PL Prod has come out with a new plane that is a spinoff of the Smaragd called the Cyclone. It is basically an F3A Smaragd with enlarged control surfaces. Your friend may want to check into that. Goto their website at:
www.plprod.com
They have a very good english site and that may be of some assistance to you. Regards.
