I haven't flown this one, but two fellow club members have been hovering about the place with 'em and seem pretty happy. As to whether it would make a good second plane I don't know, I guess it would depend on how things are going with the first. It does seem fairly stable, the approaches that I have seen (that weren't rudder-first!) were very slow and controllable. I would recommend using strong, securely anchored pinned rudder hinges, I have seen that big rudder pull off on two occasions after an inverted flat spin tightened up into a very nasty corkscrew, CA hinges couldn't take it.
