Are the Wild Hare Edge 540 and Extra 260 ( 73in). worth the $300.00 bucks.
I have a ST 3250 that needs a home. too much power for this plane? Let me know....

Wing,
I have a baby extra and it is a great plane, well worth the price. I fly mine with an Evolution 26 gasser and it is a rocket on pull out. A Supertiger 3250 would be way too much power. I've heard good reports with engines like an OS 120AX.

Wingspam,
I agree with jtsails about the plane being well worth the money. I am just about to finish mine and I have an OS 120AX on the business end swinging an APC 17X6 prop. I do think if I had it to do over again I would skip buying the optional hardware kit and buy what I like to use.

Wildhare planes are very well put together and you will not find a nicer person than Tom for customer support. I think that this plane would be awesome with an OS 120AX like Zippi has.
On another note if Yaks are your thing then Extreme Flight has there 74" Yaks that are awesome performers on an OS 160.
Just food for thought. Either way you cant go wrong with either company. Great support from either one.

Hello Wingspam,
I have the V-1 WH Baby Edge 540 as well with a OS 1.60, and its on it 3rd flying season and still going strong and in one piece. It fly's like its on rails, snaps & spins great, and floats in on landing. I had issues with the OS 1.60 at first but once the engine was broke in, they've both been a great combo together. The WH Baby Edge goes where you point it and looks great going it. Tom & Pat are great people to work with. If you got a building question, they both will give you the honest to god solution to fix it.Tom stand by his product and his costomers. Maybe thats what makes his planes so popular.
I m currenly working on a WH Edge 28% and steping up to gas, and I've been told the 28% fly's as good or if not better the its little brother the Baby Edge. I've never been so satisfied with any of my planes as I am with both my WH Edges.
I kinda kicked myself because I didn't pick up a 33% Edge from Tom before he discontinued them. They sure look nice, but Im anchoius to se what Tom has comeing to replace them.
