Can anyone tell me the differences between the Nitro Models 50cc Yak 54's? They have a red and a yellow version. I have seen threads here that mention the difference in elevator servo location but are there other differences? Is the quality and strength of construction the same? At first I thought it would be a choice between color schemes but it looks like they are 2 different planes. Do they fly the same? Any info would be great.

I saw a post that said the yellow one has tapered ailerons and the red one does not. That is why I thought they might fly differently. The red one is listed as "New" on their site so I thought it had improvements in construction as well.

I have the yellow one and it is identical to the red one, just a different sceme. Servos in the stab, clear canopy, good ball-link hardware, steel double horns, etc. I was disappointed the red one was sold out and got the yellow one. I was pleasantly suprised that mine is the same as the red one. To be sure, mine is different from the photos of the yellow one on the web site. The wing/stab tubes are the only bad part. They are soft aluminum and to make up for their weakness they are thicker wall and heavy.

Thanks for the replies. Guess they are having both colors built the same now. They answered the email and said out of stock items usually are in stock again in 3 to 4 weeks.
