Hello all,
I have a question...I am the Sec. for our club and we want to put on a 3d flying event with our annual fly-in contest here in Indiana.
Our CD has no info on how to set it up...ie, rules, flying platform, etc.
Could someone point me in the right direction?
Thank you,
Robin

Well my suggestion would be run it like any other contest, but stress to the contestants if they want to do any slow flight, harrier, torque roll, etc., that they do it on the opposite side of the runway to keep it clear in emergencies, as well as having seperation between the planes and people. Also if its AMA sanctioned remind them of the new (STUPID) rule about no rudder touches...
Also stress that they don't fly over the pits/crowd at ANY time
