Call me crazy...(okay, I heard that)
I have a H9 25% Cap that I shall start sticking togerher very soon, and I have a friend with an extra H9 Edge 540 wing...I think you can see where I'm going with this...
I'm going to attempt to mate the Edge wing to the Cap fuse...I think it will be the best of both worlds. I know this conglomeration will not be legal for competition flying, but hey, what fun the combo will be! The best wing design with the best fuselage design.
Now if I can get Avonds/Maudry and Zivco together...
I'll keep the masses posted.

Actually, they do that all the time in full scale. The cap 231EX is something made by Cap with an Extra wing. When Cap made the wing for themselves, it became a Cap232.
And in Formula 1 pylon circles, a guy put a Learjet wing on a Mustang. Called it the Learstang.

okay but really it wont change the looks or the flight performance alot. the cap 231 ex and 232 barrow the extra 300 wing and guess what other planes do? the staudacher 300d and the... you got it the edge. but the wings are almost the same in the 2 kits except on the edge it has a lil less dihedral. which will cause the plane to stall out at a lil faster. the edge also has a slightly higher wing loading because there is less wing
