Default Evolution 35GT 3D's well in a...

I have an Evolution 35 GT and would love to put it in an airframe for 3D and some pattern flying. I have come to learn that the Evo 35GT is a bit on the heavy side for it's power output so it may not be well suited for anything other than a warbird. So I figured I would ask here to see if anyone has had any luck flying 3D with this engine before selling it and just going bigger. If you have had a good experience with this engine please tell me about it and what prop you used. If you have a video that would be even better.
