Default Moki 1.80 prop ????

I'm putting a Moki 1.80 on a Goldberg 77" yak the weight should be around 13 1/2 lbs AUW and would like some suggestions on the correct prop to use. Since props are around $20 each I dont really want to buy a bunch to just try out.
also How do you feel about this engine on a 13lbs plane??? Do you think it will have unlimited vertical?? I know gas would be cheaper but would push the wingloading to 32oz (DA50) I have already tried that route on this plane and I didnt like the way it flew. I must keep the weight down .

Thanks, Mike Forrester

I always used a 18 x 10 prop on my Moki 1.80. Your vertical performance at 13 pounds will be iffy.

The OS 160 swings an APC 18x6W prop with ease, which produces loads of torque and has about 18 pounds thrust or so.The Moki will pull just a bit harder and this prop should work equally well,if wanting to have a lower airspeed with agressive bottom end pull.A Xoar 18x6 may work too and is lighter.I'd buy one of each as they will probably give the best performance.
Try them and good luck
