OH
their SIG Somethin Extra?? I have in my possesion a SIG SE with a Mostly Dead Stick 48. I started it on a APC 10x6, adn recently changed it out to a 11x5 or 4, I forget!!! I'd like to be able to get to hover this plane around 3/4 throttle, it is able to do so. I'd liek to know what you guys out there are running on your SE's. Engine, plug, prop and fuel.
I'm really contemplating the idea of like a OS 46FX or a ST 45. All my ST 45's are REALLLY strong!!!!! If I can get my 40 size Cap 21 to do 3D on a 45 with an 11 inch prop, I think I can get a little SE to hover with the same motor!!
Thanks all!!!

I am with Shortman on this. It's been awhile since I had an SE, but I flew the daylights out of mine. I started with a Rossi .40 , switched into an OS .46FX and finished with Saito .65 .
The Saito was a brick , but the power was about right. Four stroke power is perfect for that plane. If I were going out to buy a new engine for this plane, I'd get the Saito .72 .
