I got some hinge tape and tryed to attach it on but i am not sure what to do. I deflect the control surface and then lay the tape from the wing to the control surface. But now when i deflect the surface the other way the tape sticks in the hinge line???
How do you work this stuff???
Thanks
Chad

Iv'e read that with regular covering you can cover the areas that you dont want to take off stickness and use alchol or thinner to remove stickness/sticky ability from the center area that will touch the hinge area.
With regular tape, I'd use wax paper strips to block off the area that I want to stay sticky and wipe off sticky center area with cloth and or solvent type. Take off wax paper and apply to hinge line prefereabily center to outer and of course at max deflection.
Dosent hurt to have 8 hands :-)
Good Luck, Dennis
