Default YS63, What prop?

I'm new to the YS63. I'm putting this engine in a Tango I'm building. What prop would you guys start with? I'm at high elevation and obviously I want to do 3D and aerobatic stuff.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Barry

I have 2 of these and use APC 13-6. Some guys like 14-4 for 3D. I tried it and didn't like it, unloaded in the air too much.

Don...

thank you. I have both these props. I'll start with the APC 13x6 and have the 14x4W ready if needed. Thanks very much for the quick reply. I really didn't know where to start.

Thanks
Barry

Ditto on the 13x6, especially if you are running 30% heli fuel...

APC 13x6 is a great prop but 13x4w is also one option that gives higher revs than the 13x6 if you like.

One other I plan to try is what I read here on rcu, that is the apc 14x5n.

I built a plane for a friend with a YS 63, 13x4w and YS 20/20. Very good combo.

13x4 apc or 13x5 zinger on 20/20 byron here. 14x4w is not the prop for the 63 since it is a high RPM motor. Never tried the N prop

I have a tango and used the OS .56 Alpha with an APC 13x4 sport prop turning at 11,300rpm which proved to be a very good combination.

I'd expect your YS .63 to turn that prop much faster so you could go for the 13x4W.

I tached the 14x5N at an even 10,000 on the .56 but i have not flown with that prop yet. It is the prop that most favoured for the YS .63 in Japan for freestyle aerobatics so it should be a great match.
