EXTRA 330S WITH GAS ENGINE!!!
HELLO... I HACE AN EXTRA 330S PHOENIX MODELS... WITH AN OS .91 FX..
THE PLANE IS A STANDARD 60-91 TWO STROKE OR 90-120 FOUR STROKE...
Wingspan: 63.8 " (1620mm)
Weight: 7.5 - 7.94lb (3.4-3.6 kg)
Length: 50.39" (1280mm)
MY CONCERN IF I CAN PUT IN A GASOLINE TWO STROKE ENGINE 24cc ON IT... ABVIOUSLY REINFORCING THE FIREWALL.. AND WORKING WITH THE CG... WHICH WILL BE MY BIGGEST TROUBLE THAT I WOULD HAVE TO DEAL SETTING AN GASOLINE ENGINE IN IT... THX..

RE: EXTRA 330S WITH GAS ENGINE!!!
Weight would be the main concern. If you have to add a bunch of weight to the tail to get the CG right, then it's possible that it will change the flying characteristics of the plane. You might be disappointed. You may have the power to hover, but a 12 pound plane with a 10 pound airframe isn't going to land as slow. You can machine the engine to try to shed some weight, but I don't think it will be enough.
