Well, since the 46 U Can Do is not available yet,
I picked up the Magic Extra. I am in the finishing
process. Does anyone have comments on buliding and
flying characteristics. I have heard that moving the CG back makes a big change in flying. Any input will be appreciated. Thanks,Gmax

It is a great little flyer. I had one with a TT 46 pro. Crashed it due to engine quiting in a low hover. I bought a new and have been flying it allot. The new one has a OS 50sx for power. My CG is way back. the recommend CG is very conservative. Move it back and the plane comes to life.

The CG must be moved back.........i started out 4 in back.......no where near where it needs to be..but good place to start. Flys great. By the way, where are you guys ending up with your CG maybe save myself a little time working it back.

Start at 4.75". It would require a light (Ultrathrust) muffler, RX pack under stab, and light spinner. While you are at it, enlarge the rudder because you'll need the extra rudder.

I had to put a heavy brass nut plus an ounce n half of lead up front to bring it up to 4 in back. That was with the battery up under the tank.
