3D Prop

before i swapped out my 61fx for a 4 stroke 91 i used to use a 12x6 good all around performance.... i never got around to try a 13x4 that would probably be the best for slower 3d flight

Amaster air screw working better than an APC to me thats like saying a MDS 48 is better than a Jett 46. the master airscrew props have less pitch than apc. take a 12x6 apc and 12x6 MS put props together and compair them. the MS has more tip area which keep the rpm close, but the apc delivers more thrust and has more pitch speed. The best hover props are the bolly sport line of props but they are harder and harder to get in the states.

I am a big fan of the APC 13x4W for that size engine. Biggest downside is the price. I paid $12 for a 14x4W at the LHS last weekend. The MAS props are a great value for sport flying and only cost a few bucks a pop.

I used a 15x4 master airscrew k series and it was wonderfull, a 14x4 apw wide blade was awsome two, these were both 61 fx's. 1 in a tango and 1 in a funtana 50, awsome vertical, a note on the 15x4 mas, that prop loads it good but I used to tune mine while holding the plane verticle, all I can say is WOW,
