Hi

does anyone have this plane?!

Me and my friends are thinking of getting the 300LX as it seem to be very light.

does any one know the empty weight?

I would fly it on a Hacker motor, but which eninge is sutable for my friends setup of this plane?

Saito 100?! very light, but does it have enough power? (he wants to stay 4stroke)

thanks

There is some info. I have heard great things about this plane. But that was coming from the designer. 1.20 4-stroke would be best, and if your friend doesn't have an engine this big, i would suggest the YS 1.40DZ. It would be a ball

Hi Peter,

I am sponsored by Extreme Flight RC so maybe I can answer some of your questions.

The little Extra you are looking at is supposed to come in around 7 pounds +/-
I dont know what electric motor would be suitable for it. A big Hacker I would imagine.

The Saito 1.00 would be great in this plane for your friend.
I have not personally flown this plane but I saw it fly with a YS 1.10 and it was amazing.

Theses planes are not out yet but are expected in June.

Let me know if you have anymore questions.
You can also e-mail Chris Hinson. He is the designer and President of Extreme flight RC.

Here are some pics of the Extra I took a few weeks ago.

Hey Wayne
If everything goes as planned and these are released in june.
Wonder what the chances are of some of the larger planes being released at an earlier date?
Thanks

2lo,

As far as I know the only one that wont be available in June is the Yak.

E-mail Chris to be sure.

I just e-mailed chris to see what would be available and a time
when they might be available. I am glad to here that he is having some luck with getting his products available and the fact that someone is producing a scale performance 3D plane in a 50cc
catagory. This market is growing rapidly, his timing couldn't have been better. I hope it all works out for him.
There are a couple of other companys out there in this area, but just haven't taken advantage of the situation.

Hi!

Wayne,

thanks for the info!! It looks really great! I will mail Chris for further information.

The weight will not be an issue with Hacker power, was looking at the YS 140 but it weight almost twice as much as the Saito 100.

Thanks
