hi people ive got a hype 3d with a os 50 turning a 12.25/3.75 prop....does anyone know of a better prop for hovering and doing tourque rolls ???

i can hover about 50ft up but im to scared to do it lower because the vertical pull out of the hover is a bit slow...

I use a 14 x 4 on mine with 5% and OS 8 plug.

I use a 12-4 zinger wood prop. Great combo on my sledge.

I am using an Ultrathrust muffler and an APC 12.25 X 3.75 very good pulling power

I use a 12.25x3.75 APC on my OS 50 heli motor on my Something Extra and it works great.The motor is probably the best motor I have owned to date .I rarely have to adjust anything,just fuel and fly.

The Ultrathrust Muffler really makes the O.S. .50sx come alive!

I started with a 12x4 Zinger and switched to a 12x5 rev-up (wider blade). Motor is still running rich for breakin and it'll pull my SE vertical from a hover. This is the BEST motor I've ever dealt with to date.

APC 12x4W if you can get your hands on one is much better
choice. APC 12.25x3.75 would be better choice
in 40-46 range IMHO.
