I have read several postings referring to some problems with the Edge 540 wing. Can anyone elaborate before I start building mine??
Thanks!
Thanks!

The problems resulted from defects in versions manufactured over a year ago. If you bought yours from Horizon within the past nine months, you are probably fine. Build as to the plans.

I was wondering the same thing. My local hobby shop has two of them for sale for about $329.00 - which is a great price. My concern is that this model may have been sitting on the shelf for quite a while and may have the old wings - thus the reason for the low price!
How do I know if I am getting the updated wings?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Look where you mount the servos for the ailerons they should have a red round quality control stamp there, also at the wing root(where the wings connect).
That's what Horizon told me and mine have it.
Haven't had any problems.
That's a great price.
Also watch out the manual picture for the dihedral is wrong but is right on the next page step 10 in text.
Just be sure that the dihedral is at 0.
