Any of 'em! My favorite of the three is the Extra, but the other two are great flying planes! I guess it depends on what type of flying you are looking for.

Default Sukhoi

I would think the Sukhoi would be the best candidate since the additional nose weight would be welcomed.

Cap, mine is awesome. It is the first plane I have had that compares to my Carden. Not close to that but, blows the rest of the competion away.

www.rcshowcase.com

RCShowcase has put a recall on all ZDZ 100 cc motors.. there experiencing some very minor problems with them and they don't want any unhappy customers. You should send yours in unless you want a finicky motor. Steve

Definately try to get a Cap! The Sukhoi will come out too tailheavy, even with the servos moved up.

Default BME 100 and H-9 Sukhoi

Hey Rob,

A fellow club member has the H-9 Sukhoi and a BME 100 (an extremely light engine to say the least) for power...to say it can go vertical would truly be an understatement!

It can do all the 3-D moves and still handles like a tame kitten when you need it to...

I say go for the Sukhoi!

Tell him to throw a half a pound or so in the nose, and feel the difference in IMAC... I flew my Sukhoi with a ZDZ 80 and the servos in the tail... it was OK, but I liked it more with the weight and servos moved up(I used a pound).

I know the BME 100 is roughly 5lbs, no mufflers or ignition. My ZDZ 80 is 4.7 with everything except the mounting bolts and battery.

You just have to try a Cap to see what I mean...

I have the sukhoi with the zdz80 and have 1.5lbs in the nose to get it about 2" behind the wing tube. Servo's are in the tail. It flies great, and I like it as it can do more than I can. I chose the cap for two reasons, I got a great deal on it, and it is something that is different, everyone has a cap and extra, not that there is anything wrong with that.

I have a video of my sukhoi on my prop site below.

IMO you cant go wrong with any of them. Choose the one you like best! The cap is claimed to be the 3d kind though. And your engine will fly them all, but the cap will be the lightest so youll have the best power to weight ratio in your combo.

Good luck!!

I have a ZDZ 100 in my H9 Sukhoi31 and the plane is awesome.
I put the two elevator servos in the plane as far up front as possible and 2 rudder in the tail and I didn't have to add any weight for balancing.I have two 1850 6v packs nimh 2AA ahead of the wing tube. The plane weighs 23lbs and blasts out of hover.
It's a good combo and I'm sure you will like it.
