I am leaning towards an O.S. 1.60 FX but they recommend a .90 to a 1.20. Would a 1.60 be too much? Anyone elso fly a Lanier Edge 1.20 and how do you like it?

I've seen the OS 1.60 FX on most of the ones I've seen. Saito 180 is on mine but is less common. Either works great.

Superb plane. Less wing loading than the H9 - better flyer.

I have been flying a Lanier Edge for a long while now with the OS 1.60 and a APC 18x6 wide prop. It is the perfect engine and prop if you like 3D stuff. I love mine! I use the stock muffler because I had so much trouble with the Pitts muffler. I did not provide enough tank pressure. I had to do a little dremel work where the rear of the muffler hit the main former but you can hardly see the muffler under the plane.
