HI
Anyone own one of the 50cc Peakmodel planes? Im looking at the Yak 54 and Yak 55 and just wondering how these planes fly? Also anyone have any problems with them being too nose heavy or tail heavy?

I think there is a few build threads going on.They do seem good value, but can carry some risks.I have a 26cc SU26 that I was really happy with.Peakmodel may carry seconds,or rejected runs.
Their quality control is basic and you may end up with a decent built or not.
If you are an accomplished pilot, you may be limited by their often lesser performance.
Also ,by the time you add this and that, and get better hardware you maybe closing the price gap toward a better quality/performance ARF.
As long as you can accept the fact that these cheaper ARF's may need some mods and may not be as good as a competition plane and will likely have no customer support or warranty(shipping is free, shipping back is not) then they can be worth looking at.
Remember also,if one of these bigger birds has a structural issue, you will likely suffer engine and eletronic damage too,if it goes down hard.
