Has anyone seen this Plane? I want to know what the color is going to be. They say it is built better and lighter than the Extra and Cap but is the same size. I want one. I guess I might have to wait till Toledo.

I'm hopeful that almost everyone that is an Aerobatic fan is a Sukhoi fan,
just waiting for a truly refined model to become available. This ARF model
is approx 1/3 scale, 97" span, 1810 square inches. 80cc engine. It comes our
a little lighter than our H9 33% Cap. Approx 24.8 lbs w/ a GT-80 and 23.5 w/
a ZDZ 80 (Single). It took about a pound of lead in the nose when I put in
the ZDZ. Takes no ballast w/ the Zenoah 80. Quality is excellent, and is on
par with, and maybe a little better than the Cap.

IMHO this is one of the few SU-31 model designs that has been released that
still looks like a Sukhoi, but flies on par w/ Caps, Extras etc. We put a
lot of work and testing into this one to get it done, and I think it'll be a
big hit. It is probably the best of the three H9 33% models we've done in 3D
performance, and is quite good at precision IMAC sequences also.
Since a lot of Sukhoi model designs I'd seen and flown tended to be snappy
at low speeds, I used an Eppler 169 airfoil on this one instead of the foil
I'd used on the Cap and Extra, to enhance the low speed characteristics. It
worked very well!

This is another Limited Production model, so again when their gone their
gone. As some of you may be aware, the Extra is now gone, and there are just
a few Caps left before they are gone too. I expect the Sukhoi go move
faster. Nuff said there.

I'll be at in our booth at the Toledo show in all its glory, and I also plan
to have it at the IMAC judging seminar that Frank Noll is putting on in
mid-April in Ohio.

I'm really excited about this one, and when you see it, I think most
Aerobatic fans will be also.

The plane is done up in the Breitling red, yellow and blue paint scheme. It has wheel pants like the Cap and Extra which IMO adds tremendously to the looks.
