The best of the best! part 2, poll time.

I do believe the DZ is the best engine out there. The reason I think this is because it has as much power as the 140FI and it doesnt need a new fuel injector every 25 flights. I know it will swing a 17x11 in the mid 8's. I think that is wont win in the pole because it is not in production but the guys that have them love them, including me. Mine will be in a FOCUS this year and i will sell my other L and get another DZ.

I was wrong! Its getting closer now. I wonder why more people are going for the 160 FX F-1 than the 140 RX, or the 140 RX F-1. Why?

one vote for the Webra 1.45.
I am new to 2 meter pattern and my investment in a pattern engine was well researched. I am very pleased with the performance for the value. starts very easy, runs strong.
have to admit, the maintenance on the YS intimidated me a bit, and cost proved to be the factor between the Webra and OS 1.40
btw, using macs header, bolly 590 muffler

Hi !
Like 145 Webra's engine. Low cost, easy maintenance and more than enough power for any pattern program. The engine does make no difference... the pilot yes !
Have a look on the new 145 in-flight carburator on :

Ciao !

Why do peoples vote for the DZ..? since the engine doesn't exist on the market ? I might be a good engine....but wasn't suppose to appears last year, maybee this year then what?? most likely next year??
I do not buy products because other are winning with them, I buy them because I want them....and the factory can deliver them.....don't get me wrong, I flew YS for some year now I fly OS and I may switch back to YS later.

PS: CPLR used a 140L in his primary plane and a the DZ was in his backup model

I think the answer must be "other".
Also, I was told by YS Performance a few weeks ago that the DZ wouldn't likely be available for a month or two. Guess it must have arrived. True?

I'm suprised at how badly the OS 140s are doing, I thought that they would be right up there with the YS. Not only are the Webras beating it, but the non specifically F3A 160s are also doing better. Strange world out there!!!

Well, there you have it, the DZ takes first place. As I said before, I am surprised at how badly the OS 140s did in the poll. Really though, out of 55 people, only 6 people like them!
I was also surprised at how well the 160s and the webra did, beating the 140s. The YS L and DZ are in a class of their own. Simply not touched by any other 2 stroke. I believe that the DZ still has a few problems to iron out, but when it is ready, it shall really pose a major threat on the OS 140s, as their biggest advantage has always been their superior power over the 4-strokes, (YS), but now I am hearing that the YS is matching the OS prop for prop.
Anyway, what do you all think?
Regards,
Robert.
(P.S. voting is still open)
