Yep,
Got a Flip 3D for Father`s Day! Seems like a cool plane. I have 2 motors to choose from. Ist is a Saito 100, 2nd is a OS 50x.
Any thoughts?

Yeah, the 100 would destroy your performance, and leave you with a damaged plane. Go with the 50.
Believe me, power is not everything, I learned the hard way.

Hmm, I still think that.
The 100 will add weight, both from the engine, and having to build up the fuse extra.
You won't need/use the power of the 100.
You void the warranty.
Extra chances of breaking the model inflight.
Won't 3D aswell.
My advise, YS 63, or even a Saito 72.

If you fly at a higher altitude like I do (4600'), I think the saito 100 would work well. I personally have a saito 91 on my flip and I can torque roll at about 1/2 throttle.
