What type of expo rates are you guys using for low-rate and high-rate throws in your 3D planes ? I am using 30% for both hi and lo rates. I tried 60% on hi-rates but found that the stick movements are larger than what I prefer especially when torque rolling. I understand that Jason S. is using 60-90% on hi-rates ? Let's see what some of you guys are using...........

The only place I feel the need to have higher expo is on elevator. I use -80% (Futaba) on high rates. This permits me to fly off any 3D maneuver with some precision. I have, as much other 3D planes, about 50 deg of elevator movement, up and down.

On all other movements, I use about -20% to -30%, just to remove some of the sensitiveness aroud neutral.

Hope this helps.

Just for comparison i use -17% on low rates and -60-75% on high rates...this is for my cap, it varies model to model and pilot to pilot!

I use 40% on low and 70-80% on high rates.
