This looks like a very nice plane. I have trouble with high wing loading biplanes ( crashed 2 so far ) and this looks like something
I can land. I would like some comment on engines for this bird. Limited to what I have on hand OS 91FX, OS H80 ( antique ), and
Magnum 91 XL ( 4s ). They all are about the same weight depending on muffler and all are slightly less weight than a OS 61FX.
The 91FX is by far the most powerful, The H80 with dual plugs is probably the most reliable and the Magnum is a good 4 stroke.
They all will do OK with a 14X6 prop. I plan to use the plane for IMAC Basic practice with the control throws set low and fulfill my
need for one biplane in the fleet.

mfuess,I have a G-20 but I also have a new rcgf 20 with the rear induct carb. With a pitts muff would the cowl be able to just cut out bottom for cyl. head and pitts pipes?? Also how hard to install rear carb in the firewall. THANKS,RACJ

Yes some video please

I don't have any video of it. But it flies great! I have around 35 flights on it now.

I have the Bibe sitting on the bench.
I am trying to decide between the 95AX and the 110 Alpha!!
I have the electric Reactor Bibe(Love it), I had the 46-70 size mono Reactor(loved it too) it was electric with 9650 servos-sold it to a flying buddy.
I can't wait to fly this ship. I love the Orange, it will go with my Futaba guidance system.

I would go with the .95 AX. In fact, that was my first choice but it was not available at the time I built my plane so I went with the .75 AX. I fly with mfuess and we discovered that the since the .75 AX is so much lighter than the G20, it has no problem keeping up in both top speed and vertical climb. The .95 AX is about the same weight as the .75 AX and has more power, so it would be an ideal choice.

I agree, the 95AX would be the best choice if you want to use glow fuel. I'm trying to stay away from that high-dollar stuff. 150flyer and I fly our Reactors fairly often and I am impressed with the 75AX.

Despite a few misgivings about the design (mostly that it is a bit too heavy, since it is glow/electric), I ended up buying one.
Overall it looks like a nice ARF. The covering looks nice, except the outside trailing edge of the ailerons - those were terrrible on mine. I was tempted to return it, but I managed to make the poor covering job less visible. Not very impressive, does Great Planes have a quality check on these?
I'm going electric, probably the Rimfire .80, if they ever get it in stock. I will use 9650's for all servos.

OS 95AX or OS 120 AX
I have one of 60 size reactor bipes and want to go with GLOW fuel.
There is only a couple of dollars difference in the two engines and according to the information, only about 3 ounces difference.
Will the 95AX have vertical pullout power or will it just barely hang on the prop ?
I have an OS120 AX on a Fontana 100 X and it's a beast. From a hover you can blast straight up like a rocket. According to the information, the Fontana weighs a pound more than what the specs on the reactor say.
I don't want crazy power. I just want it to be adequate to get out of trouble if need be .
Appreciate anybody's input on this.
Thanks,
Roy

My .75 AX does fine and it pulls right out of a hover. The .95 is the same size with a little more power so you could expect even better vertical. I have a 1.20 Ax on a Super Skybolt and it goes vertical like a rocket. Since the Reactor Bipe is built for 3D with its over sized control surfaces, you would really have to watch your speed or you might get some flutter.

Yep got it on the bench now! I am hoping to run it this weekend and break it in. Thed DLE went in with little effort but will need new cowl so it will liik good! The plane flew nice with a Saito 91s before!
