First Gasser?
#1
Hey Guys

Ok, I have been fighting against my mind the last few months... and I have decided to get a gasser

I have been looking at SD MODELS yak 54 33%, it seems like a good airplane. They all say that bigger flies better, but what do I know? So something in the 30% range will suit me well.
Any sugestions on a good and durable first gasser? It has to be a 3d beast..hehe.

Whats the point in a forum if everybody just searched around? I`m pretty sure most questions here on rcu allready has been asked, so that means that rcu can be closed and everybody can just search

Anyway, when I`m about to buy a new airplane, especially my first gasser, then it is pretty big to me and it is very fun and pleasant to get advices..

I recently moved into ymy first gasser and have been very happy with the Wild Hare Edge V2. A friend made the move at the same time and went with a Hanger 9 Carden Yak and is just as happy. We both put DL50's in them. I would say to stay with the reputable dealers and brands and you will do well. AlsoIMO Edges and Yaks are great choices and are excellent at 3D. Good luck! You will not regret the move.
And I would also agree that bigger flys better.

Take a look at the Wildhare planes. Tom Fawcett is the owner and he's a great guy to deal with. He offers some really good package deals.

He offers 2 Edges in the 50cc range plus a really nice Extra 260. You can't go wrong with the DLE 55.
