read up, dont know how good they would be for a 3d plane, but I havent seen anyone try yet. I wonder if they are more efficient that aero balancing with area in front of hinge line??

I have one on the rudder of my 35%... I dont think it helps much, but it doesnt hurt.

I would say if you are flying with high power servos, you will not see any difference in flying but may have more available capacity at the end of the day.

but the boost tabs, it setup well, may not need high power servos. Lighter servos, lighter batt pack...
