I am considering doing some 3D flying. I know this has been knocked around quite a bit but I am looking for the most up to date info.
I have an OS .46, what is the best hovering and then then the best all around 3D ARF out there today that would work well with my motor?

Go to your local club or group flyers and check out what's around your location. Most guys will tell ya if they like something or NOT.

Default Funtana

Is the Funtana capable of flying a knife edge loop and wil it stay together?

I don't own one, so I may be wrong but . . .

I think the Funtana is going to come out at about 5 lbs, so it won't really be a good 3D bird with anything less than a strong .70 four stroke, I don't think a .46 two stroke will cut it. If you go to a .52 or something like that it might work.

I have the Model-tech Magic Extra 300 w/the Magnum XLS52, APC 12.25 X 3.75.
The plane goes together easy and the engine runs great once the baffle is removed from the muffler. Muffler is very restrictive with it in and only takes a min to remove.
It pulled vertical like a raped ape but I couldn't get the low end set to stay running in flight with that baffle in.

It should fly fine with a 46FX.
