Default 3d planes

I am tring to rebuild a small combat plane into a inexpensive 3d plane. I was wondering if a longer fuse will make it easyer to hover? Before it crashed :stupid: it had a 2ft long fuse how long do you think I should make the new one? I am putting an os 25 fx on it.

Thanks for the help

Longer will help...

It will be harder to pull back into a hover once it falls out though...

Go read about the PQHOR and all those SPAD planes in the FunFly forum. That should give you some ideas.
