I have a OS 46ax and i'm looking for a plane that will 3D with this engine. I was thinking about a profile, What is the best plane for this little engine, something that will pull out of a hover with ease. It does'nt have to be a rocket but I would like to have the power to punch out if things get crazy. What do you think?

OMP Edge 540 hands down, best beginner-novice 3D glow plane for the money. For $189 plus shipping you get a super strong plane with a build in fiberglass tube that runs the length of the fuselage for added strength. You get a full hardware set, unlike Mojo's that dont come with flight control hardware(pushrods, control horns, etc) And did I say these things are tough, Ive crashed mine 3 times and with some small repairs this thing still fly's straight. I have a 46AX on mine, while I could use a tad bit more power it has enough to punch out when you need too.

Hangar 9 Twist has crazy amount of coupling in knife Edge, and while I never flew the Mojo, I did have a ARF and it doesnt look as strong as OMP. Also it requires more assembly, you have to glue the fiberglass tube into the fuselage for the Mojo, the OMP has it already installed. Also the convering on the OMP looked alot better than the MOJO ARF that I had. Needless to say I sold the Mojo and got the OMP becuase they both cost the same but the OMP is more complete, has all the hardware included and looks better as far as finish factor. I bet they both fly damn near identical. Its just your preference.

Having flown both the OMPEdge and the OMPProYak... Pro Yak. Hands down. More stable, better flying.
I've got a 46AXon mine and it's just a beautiful plane with it.

The 46 will work with the OMP Edge but I would recommend a larger engine, like the 55. I have run a 46 and I now have an OS 50 heli engine on mine and there is a huge difference in power and performance. The most notable isn't so much punch out power but the ability to stop a descent instantly. You have a lot more control.
Good Luck!

This is my home built Yak 54 (50 inch ws) with a OS 46AX.
Not a rocket but it has enough to climb out of a hover with APC 12.25x3.75
Unlimited vertical.
The plane is very easy to fly/land.
It weighs just under 4 lbs, wet (4 oz tank), good enough for 6 mins flights.
