Has anyone purchased the hyper Fly? My experience is this. I looked at the kit and decided it needed some serious changes. First I changed the motor mount using thing ply instead of the foam and plastic parts. Then I replaced the canopy with a clear plastic canopy from a swap meet and painted it black inside to hide the battery and electronics. I plan on replacing the piano wire supplied using a piece of carbon fiber rod and fabing connectors for the horns and servo connection. Has anyone tried this that could share their experience? For the prop I plan on using the same prop the Striker uses. The one supplied is just a regular electric prop 6x4 and the rotation has to be clock wise. Inwhich case the spinner nut loosens and comes off. I done think much thought was given to this area of the design! I have used a different material for the fins which is much better than the foam and has the same wieght as the foam finns supplied. I compaired the wieght of my plane to the suppliers finished wieght and almost dead nuts the same. So far I believe the changes I have made will improve over the stock parts supplied. Happy flying
