From hand to hover; is the reverse possible w/Mode 2?
Well, learning continues at an unbelievable rate. Over the period of a few days I have managed to go from a hand release/climb-away to a hand release directly into an eye-level hover.
I have seen a few pilots (they fly Mode 1) perform the hover and grab manuever. I'm wondering if any of you flying Mode 2 can do this or is this strictly a Mode 1 manuever? If yes, what advice can you offer for technique?

I fly Mode 2 and have done it a few times. IMO you need no wind and a quick right hand. Looks cool when you get it though.
