Futaba - JR - Hitec http://hitecaurora.com/Comparison_Chart.pdf

and they compared with the old 10C not the new one which is better than all other radios in that comparison. OF course they will not put all the great things about futaba cause will not help on that comparison lol.

Before you commit to futaba, go over to the radio forum, and do some reading, skim threw the name calling and the BS, you might change your mind. There's a couple others on the maket that are bringing ppl over to there systems.
Now even with the issues I've had with JR/HH, I can't say there radio is over rated. I have the 8103, and its a good radio, when I went to upgrade to 2.4, I went another route, but that was because of the issues I had with them, not because they don't have a good radio. Look on the for sale ads, lots of 9103's up for sale. They seem to hold there value also, according to the prices there asking, but some, not all Jr guys are selling and running each other over, trying to get to the new A9 radio. Like I said before,go over to radio forum and have a look, it's entertaining, funny, and eye opening read. It'll take a while to read threw it,but well worth it.

I have been using JR radios since 1989 and have never had one glitch, a "hit" or one accident as a result from radio failure. And to top it off not only do I still use my 4030 80oz or 90 oz servos I got in 89, I also regularly still use my JRPCM 10Z and Max6 transmitters that I got then too.

So whats that................hmmmmmmmm, 21 years of continuos reliable service with out any problems, service or break downs.

Not bad eh ? When I purchased my first JR, Futaba was the HI-TEC, or Hyundia Pony of RC gear....................lol

When I go 2.4, it will be JR/Spektrum of coarse, I wouldnt chance my 50cc aircraft, or hand built projects to anything else but the best.

Chad.

Been flying RC since '72. I have JR, Futaba, Spektrum, HiTec, and Airtronics radios at this point. My first digital/proportional radio was an "EK Logictrol". Of the the stuff I've bought in the last 15 yrs it's all been good but the most reliable has been the Airtronics. Each of the others have their strong points with nobody holding a clear advantage IMHO.
