We just got our H9 ultimate in at the hobbyshop yesterday, we put it all together in the back yard, looks nice, cant wait to fly it . we are putting 4735's on alieron, airtronics high tourque on elevator, 4 8411's on rudder + matchbox and its own battery. ZDZ 160, 32 X 10 . should be nice.

If anyone's interested. I know a hobby shop that has 2 of these, the order was cancelled but they came in anyway. I believe the price is $1450 each. Jon

We just got the Ultimate in at work today! Man, it is AMAZING!!! I know the guy who ordered it, and I may be able to fly it when it is done. I believe that he is putting a 3W 240 (not sure of the disp. , but its a 4-Cylinder). The guy that bought it is a really nice guy, and I hope he lets me in on a little stick time.

Hey Terry, I measured the cowl and it is about 16 inches, the front of the plane is very wide. Even with that 160 in it we wont have to cut the cowl out for the plugs.

Hey guys, as of today the ultimate, has all the servos, engine, wings are set to correct angle and struts are all in, landing gear, wheels, and tail wheel are all done, not much more to do yet, we are kind of hopeing to have it ready to fly and test fly it thursday or friday, and have it at the centerville meet this weekend in Maryland. Very nice..

I'm putting a ZDZ-210 in mine and 4 JR 8411's on the rudder. Should be enough for both places . I'm expecting an all-up weight of 42-44 pounds, which for 3300 sq" will be VERY light. It's going to be a fun airplane I think.

Default Dougs rudder servos

Hi Doug,

Did you mean 8411's or is the 8611 a new servo? Not nitpicking just wondering if there is something new on the horizon. You are right--methinks you have plenty of power either way

Hey, how about a proper "enlargement" on that very nice photo? I'd like to see that "model" a little bit closer up. :-)
